This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of customized school bags (personalized backpacks, custom-designed school bags, embroidered/monogrammed bags, etc.) made through Skymacx at https://skymacx.xyz/kids-customized-bag (the “Service”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
Because our school bags are custom-made to your exact specifications (e.g., name, design, color choices, size variations, embroidery/printing), most orders are non-cancellable and non-refundable once production begins. We comply with the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 (FCCPA) and other applicable Nigerian laws.
1. Order Cancellation
– Before production starts — You may cancel or modify your order within 24 hours of placing it (or sooner if production has already begun).
Contact us immediately via email or WhatsApp. If we can stop production, we will process a full refund (minus any transaction fees charged by payment processors).
– After production begins — Once we start cutting fabric, printing, embroidering, or assembling your custom bag (usually within 24–48 hours of order confirmation), cancellations are not possible.
Custom items cannot be resold to another customer.
– Exceptions — We may allow cancellation in exceptional cases (e.g., major error on our part), at our sole discretion.
2. Refunds for Custom School Bags
All sales of customized school bags are considered final once production has started. We do NOT offer refunds or exchanges due to:
– Change of mind
– Incorrect size choice (please check our size guide carefully before ordering)
– Change in color/design preference after confirmation
– Buyer’s remorse
You may be eligible for a refund, replacement, or repair if:
– The bag arrives materially defective (e.g., stitching failure, zipper broken on arrival, major printing/embroidery error not matching your approved design).
– The delivered bag does not match the description, specifications, or proof/mockup we provided and approved.
– The item is unsuitable for the purpose clearly communicated to us before purchase (and we failed to advise accordingly).
– Non-delivery or significant delay beyond our stated production + shipping timeline (subject to force majeure).
In these cases, contact us within 7 calendar days of receiving the item (or within a reasonable time under FCCPA). Provide photos/videos of the issue, order number, and proof of purchase.
We will review and respond within 3–7 business days. If approved:
– We may repair the item (at no cost).
– Replace it with the same/custom specification.
– Issue a full or partial refund (to original payment method).
Refunds (when granted) are processed within 7–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item (if required). You may need to return the defective bag at our expense in approved cases.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will NOT be issued for:
– Normal wear and tear after use.
– Damage caused by misuse, accident, improper care, or washing contrary to our care instructions.
– Minor variations in color/shade due to screen differences, fabric batches, or handmade processes.
– Orders cancelled after production has started.
– Items returned without prior approval or outside the 7-day window for quality issues.

5. Shipping & Return Costs
– Original shipping fees are non-refundable (unless the issue is our fault).
– For approved returns/replacements due to our error, we cover return shipping costs (use the provided label/method).
– Customer-paid returns for non-eligible reasons are not reimbursed.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Changes appear here with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be notified via email or site notice where required by law.
Continued purchases after updates mean acceptance of the revised policy.
